Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within forty eight hours of arrival date, (not arrival time) will incur the following cancellation charges:

• One (1) night charge in full for the apartment/suite/room/office reservation of less than seven (7) nights
• Two (2) nights charge in full for the apartment/suite/room/office reservation from seven (7) to twenty eight(28) nights
• Three (3) nights charge in full for the apartment/suite/room/office reservation of more than twenty eight(28) nights

To reserve three or more rooms the standard deposit, must be paid in full one month before arrival date. Cancellation within twenty-one days of the arrival date will incur full charges.

If following confirmation, the number of rooms or nights originally booked are reduced the discounted rate will no longer apply and the standard room rates will be applied.

When accommodation is reserved by a third party, the cancellation charges automatically become the responsibility of the third party.

Any cancellation charges will initially be offset against any deposit held and the balance will be charged against the credit card supplied to secure the booking. We may also deduct any charges levied upon us by the payment agency through which the booking was made, such as the payment gateway provider or the credit card company.

We reserve the right to deduct any amounts charged to us by any banks or financial institutions, whether in relation to the making, modification or cancellation of the reservation(s) or otherwise.

We also reserve the right to decide the method, manner and timing of any refunds as per our company policy and at our sole discretion.

All bookings are guaranteed by a credit card and late arrival. Failure to arrive will result in a no show charge being charged to your credit card up to the rack rate of the room booked

To prevent any potential loss due to cancellations we do stress the importance of taking out travel insurance to protect yourself.

Guests must also ensure that they furnish Mélange Astris with accurate credit card particulars. In the event that Mélange Astris fails to collect the required deposit due to such inaccuracies, then the requested accommodation will not be secured and Mélange Astris will not be held responsible.

If you are making reservations on behalf of another person (“credit card holder”), you make the following representations and warranties and further agree to comply with the terms and conditions stated below:

• You have obtained legal authorization from the credit card holder to make reservations on behalf of the credit card holder, to pay all advanced deposit charge(s) using the credit card holder’s credit card and agree to our terms and conditions on the credit card holder’s behalf and thereby bind credit card holder to our terms and conditions;
• The Guest Information you have provided above, e.g., name, phone number, and address, is that of the credit card holder;
• You will inform the credit card holder of all our Terms and Conditions, and provide the credit card holder with reservation confirmation(s) and any other information or correspondence pertaining to the credit card holder’s reservations.

Our on-line reservation system is not intended for travel agent bookings. Travel agents may make reservations by emailing our Reservation Office at sales sales@melangebangalore.com & astris.reservations@melangebangalore.com We reserve the right to refuse or cancel travel agents bookings, for any reason whatsoever, should we discover that a travel agent has made or attempted to make bookings using this on-line reservation system contrary to our policy.
